At Livesport, we've been developing a results service for sports fans for years, which is used by up to 110 million people worldwide every month. We build the entire solution ourselves and host it in our own data centers. One of the most crucial components is our database of sports results built on MySQL. However, various parts of our platform use a range of other tools and types of databases that our team also manages.
Our primary focus is on supporting development teams within Livesport. We ensure the smooth operation of the platform, take care of DB servers, address service performance issues, and resolve technical problems. Besides support, it’s essential for us that data reaches end users accurately and as quickly as possible.

We are looking for a senior professional for a full-time position (HPP) with the possibility of remote work.
We manage relational and document databases, along with various caching and message queue technologies. Our primary focus is on MySQL, but you will also work with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and possibly PostgreSQL or InfluxDB. Recently, we have incorporated KeyDB as a new caching technology.
Our responsibilities include ensuring high availability and automating database services. This encompasses database backups, monitoring, disaster recovery (DR), and many other database-related tasks.
You possess advanced experience in a Linux environment.
You are knowledgeable about the core concepts of scripting.
You have a solid understanding of the basics of relational databases.
